We stand in solidarity with Julian Assange
WikiLeaks editor Julian Assange is facing up to 175 years in prison for publishing truthful information in the public interest. Julian Assange is being sought by the United States for publishing US government documents that exposed war crimes and human rights abuses in 2010. The politically motivated charges represent an unprecedented attack on press freedom and the public’s right to know – seeking to criminalize basic journalistic activity. To learn more, click here.
We stand in solidarity with Palestine

Real Utopia stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people and with Gaza. We condemn the genocide being executed by the Israeli state on the Palestinian people. We separate the actions of the Israeli state and Zionism from the Jewish people; indeed, RU has many Jewish members who have called for peace and long opposed the occupation. We separate our opposition to the actions of the Israeli state from anti-Semitism. We call for a permanent ceasefire and the establishment of talks to bring a peaceful agreement to the region and an end to the occupation.
